The target of the project PROGRAILIVE is to secure and increase the production of leguminous grains for the breeding in the west of France (Brittany and Pays de la Loire).
We have chosen for this project to experiment with three grains : Pea, Lupine and Faba Bean to increase the protein self-sufficiency for farmers.
This project was based on the farmers requests and is based on experimenting on farmsteds using mixed crops (cereal and leguminous).
PROGRAILIVE is supported by Pôle Agronomique Ouest. It implies economical actors, professional agricultural organizations, research teams, agricultural schools and universities
